Process

We made a few decisions here. One was to make the copy playful, which speaks to the heart of Classcraft's goal to make learning a fun adventure. "Uh oh...", along with an image of one of the game's silly-looking creatures, formed a perfect pair.

The copy also needed to be useful and provide an actionable next step. Our solution here was to put a chat box so users could contact our support team when they got stuck. The microcopy directs attention to the chat box by asking, "Maybe we can help?".
